Education
Dr. Kazemi graduated from the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at the George Washington University Hospital. He continued at George Washington University Hospital to complete his advanced interventional cardiology fellowship. He has been elected as a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He is a member of the Nevada State Medical Association and the Clark County Medical Society.
Dr. Kazemi has served as Director of the Mountain View Hospital Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory as well as Chief of Cardiology. Currently he actively participates in the Cardiac Alert Program at Mountain View Hospital and Summerlin Hospital, which is designed to provide emergent care for patients experiencing a heart attack.
Dr. Kazemi participates in clinical trials for management of patients with Diabetes and Cardiac disease in conjunction with Endocrinologist Dr. Samer Nakhle.
